Class Announcements 20th Anniversary of Reading Recovery in Knox County Schools This year marks the 20 year anniversary of Reading Recovery in Knox County Schools. In those years thousands of students have been served. Tutoring sessions have improved reading abilities and enabled students to excel in ways that improve not only their job skills, but also, their quality of life. We look forward to many more years of serving your children! How Parents Can Help Parents, I only have 14 weeks to work with the new students that I have just picked up. It is so important that you listen to your child's reading every night. We want to make the most of our time together.  Tell your child what a good job they are doing and how important it is to learn to read. Be a cheerleader! Thank you for all of your help! Daily Homework Students will have books to read at home daily. Parents, please be sure to sign that you listened to your child read and return books to school every day. We need the books for our daily lessons. One additional activity that will help your child is to ask him/her to retell the story.  Discussion Topics Class Files No "Class Files" exist(s)
